My Cinematic Alphabet

Jake at Not Just Movies posted his contribution to the My Cinematic Alphabet meme today, and his choices were uniformly (and unsurprisingly) excellent.  Inspired me to give it a go myself.  While I would have preferred not to repeat any of his choices, lest it seem that I was just re-posting his entry, I simply cannot argue with the fact that Chungking Express and Kill Bill are the correct choices for their respective letters.

I should also point out that my selections for Q and X are largely driven by the very small number of films I've seen for either letter, rather than any great love for either movie.  But they're both enjoyable and can stand in for franchises or genres that I do have tremendous affection for.

Overall, I suppose it ends up painting a pretty fair portrait of my general taste in film.  Right then, without further ado:
